Will Jenna Jameson Bump Bill Clinton?

Granted, Bill Clinton's autobiography My Life has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for almost two months, selling nearly 2 million copies since the summer began. And granted, Bill Clinton still draws record crowds whenever he signs the book, like he did yesterday in Martha's Vinyard. And granted, pirated copies in Asia are selling like hotcakes, which, although are not profitable, show that his popularity reaches every nook and cranny of the globe.

All that having been said, Jenna Jameson's autobiography is out today -- ghosted by Neil Strauss -- and, at least in my media-saturated mind, one wonders, okay, I wonder: will Jenna Jameson's bio "bump" Bill Clinton from the number one slot of the New York Times bestsellers? And ... would Clinton really be upset about being "bumped" by Jenna Jameson in the first place?

Bill Clinton's My Life has taken on all comers, like David Sedaris' Dress Your Family in Courduroy and Denim, a worthy challenger, to be sure. But Jenna Jameson has considerable, ahem, "assets." It would, of course, be a minor embarrassment for Clinton to get bumped by a porn star, especially, considering that his reported $10 million advance would have been considerably less if Clinton glossed over the Monica episode (several million dollards less). Clinton went for the big dollars and dove full-on in the Monica sex scandal. But Jameson's book is all about sex.

We'll see who "wins".
